ISLAMABAD: Former England captain Nasser Hussain has criticized the ICC’s alleged double standards, saying that if India had demanded a change of venue instead of Bangladesh, would the ICC have taken the same approach? Would it have decided to exclude India from the event as well?

He stressed that the ICC should treat Bangladesh and Pakistan equally as it treats India.

Nasser Hussain said that it is a good thing that Bangladesh stood firm on its stand and stood firmly in favor of its player.

He further said that Pakistan also played a positive role by supporting Bangladesh. Someone or the other has to step forward and say that enough is enough of politics, now the focus should be on cricket.
