PPP's Awais Qadir Shah elected as Speaker Sindh Assembly
Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Awais Qadir Shah was elected as Speaker Sindh Assembly. Awais Qadir bagged 111 votes against Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Sofia Shah, who secured 36 votes on Sunday.
During the secret polling, 147 members of the Sindh Assembly cast their votes to select the Speaker of the legislation assembly.
