MIRPUR: A terrible traffic accident in occupied Kashmir has killed 21 people and injured dozens.

According to officials, a bus full of passengers lost control while taking a bend after colliding with an auto-rickshaw and fell into a 100-foot deep gorge.

The accident took place in Kanot village near Udhampur district. According to local administration, more than 60 people were on board the 42-seater bus, which was going from Ramnagar to Udhampur.

According to rescue officials, 19 people died on the spot, while 2 more injured could not be brought to the hospital. About 45 people have been injured in the accident, many of whom are said to be in critical condition.
