LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will build a cricket stadium in Saudi Arabia.

After the construction of the cricket stadium, Jeddah will also be able to host Pakistan Super League matches in the future.

Initial approval has been taken from the Governing Board in this regard, but further matters are yet to be considered and a final agreement is yet to be reached.

The PCB wants to promote the game in Saudi Arabia as well, while the Saudi government is also strongly encouraging sports activities in its country.

It should be remembered that in the recent meeting of the Board of Governors, an expression of interest was approved with the Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation in this regard.

Sources say that various locations are being reviewed to select the location of the stadium in Saudi Arabia, this matter is still in its initial stage. If the negotiations with the authorities are successful, an agreement will be reached, after which regular work will begin on it.
