Over 21,110 people lost their lives and 55,243 were injured in brutal Israeli attacks

GAZA: Palestinian authorities reported dozens more deaths as Israeli forces pounded central Gaza by land, sea, and air. The UN health agency said thousands of people were attempting to escape the fighting.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israel’s savage attacks on the enclave resulted in 21,110 confirmed deaths and 55,243 injuries. The 2.3 million residents of Gaza have all but been forced from their homes.

Several wounded and seven dead were reported by medics late on Wednesday following three strikes by Israeli planes in the central Gazan neighborhood of Al Nuseirat.

Tens of thousands of people were seen by the UN World Health Organization’s staff escaping violent attacks in Khan Younis and the Middle Area on foot, on donkeys, or in cars. It said on Wednesday that improvised shelters were being constructed beside the road.

The French Presidency stated that French President Emmanuel Macron informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a call that efforts must be made to achieve a sustainable ceasefire with the support of regional and international partners, given the increasing international pressure on Israel on the diplomatic front.

Twenty Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday near the Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to a statement from the Gaza Health Ministry. The Israeli military did not immediately provide a statement.

Five Palestinians were killed in a single airstrike in the Al-Maghazi district in central Gaza, according to medics, while seven Palestinian bodies were reported to have arrived at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City to the north by health officials.

According to residents in the central Gaza Strip, Israeli tank shelling east of Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi, where tanks have been attempting to break through, grew more intense as night fell.
