ISLAMABAD: An alleged audio recording of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim and his ex-wife, Sania Ashfaq, has been leaked on social media, prompting a new turn in the ongoing dispute between the two.

The couple, who tied the knot in August 2019 and parted ways in December 2025, have been in the news for the past few months.

Now the alleged leaked audio has created a new stir on the internet, in which a bitter conversation between Imad Wasim, Sania Ashfaq, their families, and the police can be heard.

Neither of the two personalities has yet to confirm or deny the authenticity of this viral audio.

According to reports, Sania Ashfaq had recently leveled serious allegations against the national cricketer, such as abuse, severe mental pressure, and neglect of her own children, in response to which Imad Wasim had warned his ex-wife to stop dragging his current wife, Naila Raja, into their family dispute.

In this alleged audio that has now come to light, Sania Ashfaq is heard pleading with Imad Wasim to save their relationship for the sake of their children’s future, while the heartbreaking sounds of young children crying can also be heard in the background.

In the audio, the two are allegedly arguing about the custody of the children, where Sania says that she has only come from London to save her house and how she will support three children alone.

Following the circulation of the recording, social media users widely shared their reactions, with many expressing concern for the children involved. Several figures from Pakistan’s entertainment industry also commented on the controversy.

Actress Heera Soomro lamented, writing, “Why do most men do this?” while renowned actress Armeena Khan harshly commented, “Such men should never be with any woman.”
