KARACHI: Pakistani actors Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed have finally begun their wedding celebrations with a dholki night. The event was graced by close friends and other celebrities. It was a musical evening as actor Khaqan Shahnawaz has shared glimpses of the event on social media

Gohar Rasheed took to his Instagram to express his gratitude, sharing a post that read, “MASHAH ALLAH Massive Love and hugs @momal15 & @nader.nawaz for a warm beginning #1stDholak.”

Decorative posters with the couple were also present during the event, denoting the start of their wedding celebration.

Among the guests at dholki night are some of Gohar Rasheed’s industry peers, including Shehzad Sheikh and Aashir Wajahat.

The speculation surrounding the relationship between Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed began after their successful collaboration in the 2023 drama Jannat Se Aage, as their intense on-screen chemistry gained much attention and led to much curiosity about their off-screen bond.

The rumors of their impending wedding picked up steam in early January when Gohar Rasheed posted a cryptic social media post with the words “Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim,” the year 2025, and the words “warming up,” with an evil eye emoji. Fans were quick to speculate on his Instagram feed.

The excitement for the couple’s wedding gained more steam as Usman Mukhtar reacted to the star-studded wedding announcement reel that the couple made on Instagram Stories.

Expressing his joy, he wrote, “Super happy for you two! Just tell everyone now who played cupid,” hinting that he might have played a role in bringing them together.

The wedding celebrations are expected to be a grand affair, with many celebrities in attendance. As the couple gets ready to take their vowsfans and friends alike wait in anticipation of all the upcoming events and wish the newlywed couple a happy and prosperous married life.
