LAHORE: Punjab police have arrested the famous and renowned stage actress Samar Rana on charges of torturing and sexually assaulting her 14-year-old maid.
A rape case of a domestic worker has been filed at the Nawab Town police station. Police said that the year-old girl was allegedly raped by five individuals at the actress’s residence.
The actress also stands accused of torturing and intimidating the maid. As per the police report, the unknown suspects continuously made videos of the rape of the girl.
SP Investigation Sadar Division Mian Moazzam Ali stated that attempts are being made to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the incident and that the maid and her family will be granted justice no matter what.
