TikToker Bilal Marth arrested along with seven associates

LAHORE: Famous TikToker Bilal Marth has been arrested along with seven associates on charges of displaying weapons in public.

The Counter Crime Department (CCD) raided a local marriage hall during a wedding ceremony.

According to the details, the accused had attended the wedding ceremony armed with Kalashnikov-like rifles and pistols and were displaying weapons in public.

On receiving information, the CCD team immediately reached the spot, took action, and detained all the accused.

According to the police, the arrested persons failed to produce the weapons licenses or any other legal documents they had with them on the spot.

Officials said that the recovered weapons were loaded, which could have caused a serious accident or loss of life at any time.

CCD officials said that a case has also been registered against the owner of the wedding hall after this incident, as effective monitoring of the presence and use of weapons during the ceremony was not carried out.

The police have clarified that legal action is being taken against all those involved in this incident.

It was further informed that those who provided weapons to the arrested accused are also being identified, and action will be taken against them.

After the initial investigation, a case has been registered against 8 people, and an investigation has been started.

CCD officials have said that indiscriminate action will continue against such elements to ensure the rule of law in the society.
