iPhone Fold pricing and storage options leak has revealed new details about Apple’s possible foldable smartphone before its expected launch.
According to recent reports, Apple may introduce the foldable device in September alongside the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series.
A tipster known as Instant Digital shared the information on the Chinese platform Weibo.
The leak suggests the foldable iPhone could come with three storage variants. These may include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models.
The iPhone Fold pricing and storage options leak indicates the base model with 256GB storage may cost CNY 15,999 in China.
The 512GB version could be priced at CNY 17,999, while the 1TB variant might reach CNY 19,999.
If converted directly, the base price equals around $2,330. However, analysts say Apple usually sets its own price structure instead of using normal exchange rates.
Experts at Macworld believe the foldable phone may start at around $1,999 in the United States based on Apple’s typical pricing differences between markets.
Another report by The Bell also shared information about the device’s memory.
The report states Apple has reportedly ordered DRAM chips from Samsung Electronics for the upcoming foldable device.
According to the report, the phone may include 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which would support high performance and multitasking.
Despite these leaks, Apple has not officially confirmed the foldable iPhone or its specifications.
More details about the device are expected to appear as the possible launch date approaches.
