Britain apology for Israel creation has been demanded by more than 45 British Members of Parliament and House of Lords members. They have written a letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer asking the government to admit its historical responsibility.

According to international media reports, the lawmakers said Britain should recognise the impact of its past decisions. They believe these actions helped shape the political situation in the Middle East today.

The letter highlighted the Balfour Declaration issued in 1917. The MPs said its consequences can still be seen across the region even after many decades.

They explained that the declaration later created conditions that led to the establishment of Israel in 1948. As a result, many Palestinians faced displacement, violence, and long-term hardship.

The lawmakers said Britain apology for Israel creation is important to recognise the suffering experienced by Palestinians. They urged the British government to acknowledge the historical effects of the agreement.

After the defeat of the Ottoman Empire, Britain ruled Palestine for nearly three decades. This period continued until 1948.

However, different British governments have so far avoided offering a formal apology or accepting responsibility for the events of that era.
