Eidul Fitr celebrations in Pakistan are being observed with great joy and unity as millions across the country mark the end of Ramazan. People gathered early morning for prayers and shared the spirit of togetherness.

Large and small Eid congregations were held in mosques, open grounds, and Eidgahs. Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s progress and the well-being of Muslims worldwide.

Major prayer gatherings took place in Islamabad and Lahore. Many political and social leaders joined citizens in these congregations.

However, rain affected Eid celebrations in Karachi. Some prayer gatherings were disrupted due to heavy showers, causing inconvenience to worshippers.

President Asif Ali Zardari offered Eid prayers in Nawabshah. He prayed for peace, security, and development of the country. He also met people and exchanged Eid greetings.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered Eid prayers in Lahore along with his family and federal ministers. After prayers, he met citizens and party workers, showing public connection.

In his message, the prime minister highlighted unity, patience, and helping the needy. He said Eid reminds Muslims of sacrifice, service, and collective responsibility.

He also mentioned the importance of supporting underprivileged people. He referred to government efforts during Ramazan to provide financial help through digital systems.

The prime minister expressed concern for people in Gaza and other conflict areas. He called for unity among Muslims to promote peace and justice.

President Zardari also urged the nation to continue the values learned during Ramazan. He emphasized patience, unity, and care for the less fortunate.

Pakistan’s armed forces also extended Eid greetings. Military leadership reaffirmed their commitment to defend the country and praised the sacrifices of personnel.

Strong security arrangements were made across the country. In Islamabad, over 7,000 police personnel were deployed to ensure safety during Eid prayers.

Overall, Eidul Fitr celebrations in Pakistan reflected unity, faith, and a shared hope for peace and prosperity.
