Field Marshal Asim Munir celebrates Eidul Fitr with troops at Pak-Afghan border

Field Marshal Asim Munir Eidul Fitr troops visit highlighted strong support for soldiers deployed near the Pak-Afghan border. Asim Munir spent Eid day with troops in Kurram District, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.

He offered Eid prayers with soldiers and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and progress. The visit aimed to boost troop morale during the festive occasion.

During his interaction, Field Marshal Asim Munir Eidul Fitr troops gathering included warm greetings and appreciation for their dedication. He praised their professionalism and commitment to protecting the country.

The army chief also appreciated the success of Operation Ghazab lil Haq. He said the operation played an important role in targeting terrorist networks and improving security in border areas.

He clearly stated that militants using Afghan territory will not be allowed to threaten Pakistan’s security. He stressed that Afghan soil must not be used for activities against Pakistan.

Field Marshal Asim Munir Eidul Fitr troops meeting also included recognition of sacrifices made by martyrs. He said the success of operations is due to the courage and dedication of officers and soldiers.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On arrival, the army chief was received by the Corps Commander Peshawar.
