The Germany Iran war stance became clear after Germany’s foreign minister said Berlin will not take part in any war involving Iran. He also rejected the idea of supporting efforts to remove the Iranian government.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul made the statement while speaking about the rising tensions in the region. He said Germany will not join any military action or attempt to bring regime change in Iran.
According to foreign media reports, the Germany Iran war stance reflects Berlin’s focus on diplomatic solutions instead of military escalation.
At the same time, China also expressed concern over the growing tensions in the Middle East. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held phone calls with several counterparts to discuss the situation.
These contacts included foreign ministers from Russia, Iran, Oman, France, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
China urged all sides to follow the principles of the United Nations Charter. It also called for an end to military operations and asked countries to return to dialogue.
The developments come at a time when international concern is rising over possible escalation in the region. Countries are now pushing for diplomacy to avoid further conflict.
