The Iran nuclear program remains at the center of rising tensions, as French President Emmanuel Macron said military action cannot solve the issue. He stressed that diplomacy is the only lasting solution.

Speaking during a visit to South Korea, Macron said strikes by the United States and Israel would not eliminate the Iran nuclear program. He warned such actions could make the situation worse.

Macron highlighted the need for clear diplomatic and technical talks. He said without a proper framework, the crisis around the Iran nuclear program could return within months or years.

He also rejected ideas of military action to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, such an operation would take time and expose forces to serious risks.

The French president pointed out that Iran has advanced military capabilities. These include ballistic missiles and strong coastal defenses, making any operation highly dangerous.

Experts say Macron’s remarks show that European countries still prefer dialogue over war when dealing with the Iran nuclear program issue.
