Iran US ground attack claims raise fears of wider Middle East war

Iran US ground attack claims

Iran US ground attack claims have increased tensions in the Middle East as new military movements and attacks continue across the region.

Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said the United States is planning a ground attack while publicly talking about diplomacy. His statement came as thousands of US Marines arrived in the region.

According to officials, US forces have been deployed on ships and bases in the Middle East. Reports suggest the Pentagon is preparing for possible ground operations. However, it is still unclear if President Donald Trump will approve such action.

The situation has worsened as fighting spreads beyond Iran. Israel confirmed fresh strikes and reported casualties in southern Lebanon. A missile also hit a media building in Tehran, causing major damage and stopping broadcasts.

At the same time, Yemen’s Houthi group has launched attacks on Israel, opening a new front in the conflict. This has increased fears that the war could spread across the entire region.

The conflict began on February 28 after US and Israeli strikes on Iran. Since then, it has expanded to multiple countries, affecting energy supplies and global markets.

Iran has also warned it may target institutions linked to the US or Israel in response to attacks on its universities. Officials said further action will depend on international reactions.

Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts are ongoing. Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has been in contact with Pakistan’s leadership to discuss ways to reduce tensions.

Despite these talks, continued strikes and military deployments show that the crisis remains serious and unpredictable.
