JazzCash has successfully disbursed financial assistance to over 35,000 beneficiaries under the Punjab government’s Maryam Ko Batain Program. The program, launched by the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), aims to support vulnerable households across the province.
Eligible citizens receive PKR 10,000 in financial aid. Registration is done via the official government helpline or mobile app. Each application is verified by the authorities before the funds are transferred.
After verification, JazzCash completes secure digital transfers to beneficiaries within 24 hours, ensuring fast and transparent delivery. Since its launch, the program has positively impacted more than 300,000 individuals, helping families access financial support when they need it most.
Arif Chaudary, Head of Public Sector Partnerships at JazzCash, said the initiative shows how digital platforms can strengthen government social protection. He added that JazzCash ensures aid reaches citizens quickly, safely, and respectfully, highlighting the role of digital infrastructure in expanding access to welfare programs.
The partnership emphasizes the Punjab government’s commitment to digital innovation in public fund distribution. It allows secure and efficient delivery of financial support, reducing delays and expanding access to essential services for communities across the province.
