Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Monday the launch of ‘Maryam Ko Batayen’, a special program to support needy families during Ramadan. The initiative will start from the first day of the holy month and aims to provide immediate financial assistance to eligible households.

Under the program, families can receive up to Rs10,000 within 24 hours by calling the dedicated helpline number 1000. CM Maryam Nawaz said the process is designed to deliver aid quickly and efficiently to those who need it most.

Beneficiaries can also apply by entering their national identity card numbers on the official web portals or mobile applications. This digital approach ensures a smooth and convenient way to access funds.

To maintain transparency, the program features a live-tracking system. Every transaction will be digitally recorded and monitored, guaranteeing that the aid reaches the right families without delay or misuse.

This initiative highlights the Punjab government’s commitment to social welfare and direct support for low-income households during Ramadan. By combining technology with rapid financial assistance, ‘Maryam Ko Batayen’ seeks to provide timely relief while building trust among the public.

CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the program reflects her administration’s dedication to helping the poor and strengthening accountability through modern digital solutions.
