The No Smoking Policy in Faisalabad Hospitals has been enforced with immediate effect across all public and private healthcare facilities. The order was issued on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner to protect patients, visitors, and medical staff.

The Chief Executive Officer Health in Faisalabad released an official notification. It clearly banned smoking inside hospital buildings, offices, sub-offices, and all related premises. Hospital administrations must ensure strict compliance with this policy.

Authorities have directed hospitals to install clear no-smoking signboards at important locations. Staff training is also mandatory so employees can help enforce the No Smoking Policy in Faisalabad Hospitals effectively.

Hospital administrations must also submit monthly reports. These reports will explain what steps were taken to implement the ban and ensure compliance. This will help the health department monitor enforcement closely.

Earlier in 2025, the Punjab government ordered strict implementation of anti-smoking laws across the province. This includes cities such as Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. The move is part of wider efforts to protect public health.

Under provincial rules, smoking is banned in hospitals, schools, government offices, shopping malls, and public transport. Violators can face fines starting from Rs. 1,000 up to Rs. 100,000, depending on the violation.

Officials say the No Smoking Policy in Faisalabad Hospitals will create a safer and healthier environment. It will also help reduce health risks caused by second-hand smoke.
