PCB Central Contract Violation: Players Warned Over Social Media and Political Posts

PCB issues NOCs to national cricketers for overseas leagues

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued strict warnings to players for violating their central contracts.

According to sources, cricketers are not allowed to post on social media without prior permission from the PCB Media Department. Players have been instructed to strictly follow central contract rules.

Violating the central contract can carry severe financial consequences. Nasim Shah, for example, could face fines up to 20 million PKR for breach of contract.

PCB has also informed players’ managers about the guidelines. The board made it clear that political posts by players will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Sources say that posting controversial content could result in penalties starting from 10 million PKR. PCB emphasizes maintaining discipline and adherence to the code of conduct in all public communications.

This move is aimed at ensuring professionalism and protecting the reputation of Pakistani cricket on social and traditional media platforms.
