PMD heavy rain alert: Thunderstorms and flash flood risk in northern regions

Rain is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, northeastern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Some areas in southern Punjab and Sindh may receive light showers.
Hailstorms and strong winds could damage weak structures.

In Lahore, recent rain has made the weather pleasant.
More showers are expected, and the rain spell may continue until March 30.

Temperatures in Lahore have dropped slightly.
Humidity has increased, improving overall weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Karachi is expected to have partly cloudy skies.
Strong winds may continue throughout the day.

Cities like Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, and Umerkot may also experience strong winds.

Over the last 24 hours, rain with thunderstorms was reported in parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern Balochistan.
Other areas remained mostly dry.
