The Punjab Widow Sahara Card Scheme 2026 has been officially launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to widows across the province.

Eligible widows will receive financial support ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000. The base amount of Rs. 100,000 increases depending on the number of children. Widows with one child will get Rs. 125,000, while those supporting two or more children may receive Rs. 150,000.

The registration process will remain open until March 14. Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab and provide valid documentation. Required documents include a Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), the husband’s death certificate, and children’s B-Forms.

Applications can be submitted online through the official portal or at designated registration centers. Authorities will verify all documents and complete biometric checks before releasing funds.

The Punjab government stated that the Widow Sahara Card Scheme aims to help widows meet household needs and improve their financial stability.
