The Ramadan 2026 Weather Update has brought relief for millions of Muslims in Pakistan, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) expects mostly pleasant conditions during the holy month. Officials say temperatures will remain moderate in the early days, making fasting easier for many people.

Ramadan is a sacred time observed with fasting, prayers, and reflection. During this month, Muslims do not eat or drink from dawn to sunset. Because fasting hours can last between 12 and 13 hours in Pakistan, weather conditions play an important role in daily routines.

According to the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco), the Ramadan crescent is likely to be visible on February 18, 2026. Based on this prediction, the first fast is expected on February 19, 2026. However, the official announcement will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after receiving verified moon-sighting reports from across the country.

Pakistan Meteorological Department Deputy Director Anjum Nazir Zaighum said the overall weather is expected to remain comfortable during Ramadan. He explained that temperatures will gradually rise as the month progresses. Warmer conditions are likely to begin from the second week of March in most regions.

This gradual change is part of the seasonal transition from winter to spring. Early Ramadan days are expected to be milder, while later days may feel slightly warmer due to longer daylight hours.

Meanwhile, the Met Office has also issued a short-term forecast for Karachi. The city may experience partly cloudy skies, along with chances of thunderstorms and rain within the next 24 hours. Such weather could temporarily lower temperatures and provide relief.

Weather conditions during Ramadan are always closely watched, especially by those who fast while working outdoors. Pleasant temperatures can make fasting easier, while heat can increase physical stress.

The latest Ramadan 2026 Weather Update suggests that this year’s fasting period will begin under comfortable weather conditions. However, people are still advised to stay hydrated during non-fasting hours and take necessary precautions as temperatures slowly rise in March.

The final start date of Ramadan will depend on the official moon sighting announcement, while weather patterns will continue to be monitored throughout the holy month.
