Gold prices plunge: Rs9,000 drop per tola amid global slide

ISLAMABAD: The price of gold in the country has recorded a major decline on the second day of the business week.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 9,000 on Tuesday, after which the price of gold per tola was Rs 514,762.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 7,716, after which the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs 441,325.

On the other hand, there has been a major decline in gold prices in the global market once again. The price of gold per ounce has been recorded to have decreased by $ 130 internationally.

The price of gold per ounce in the global market has decreased from $ 5,010 to $ 4,879 per ounce. According to the news agency, the current situation between the United States and Iran is also having an impact on the price of gold.
