Saudi Arabia Israel Relations Under Question After Prince Turki Al-Faisal Statement

Saudi Arabia Israel relations came under fresh debate after former Saudi intelligence chief Prince Turki Al-Faisal said normalization between the two countries should be forgotten for now.

He made the remarks while discussing the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the conflict linked to Iran.

Prince Turki Al-Faisal claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the United States several times and convinced former US President Donald Trump to support a war against Iran.

He described the current confrontation with Iran as “Netanyahu’s war”.

Reaction to Possible Iran Response

Speaking about the situation, Prince Turki Al-Faisal said it was surprising that Donald Trump appeared shocked by Iran’s response.

According to him, many people had earlier tried to stop Trump from attacking Iran.

He warned that Iran could target US military bases in the region if tensions continue to rise.

Concerns About Wider Conflict

Prince Turki Al-Faisal also said that the United States itself may not remain safe if the conflict expands.

He stressed that the situation in the region is dangerous and could affect several countries.

Because of these developments, he said talk about restoring Saudi Arabia Israel relations should be set aside for now.

The statement highlights growing uncertainty in Middle East diplomacy as tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States continue.
