PSL administration shares possible schedule with franchises

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Super League administration has shared the possible schedule with the franchises.

According to sources, the schedule for PSL XI consisting of 44 matches has been shared with the franchises. Lahore will host the maximum number of PSL matches. 14 matches of the league will be played in Lahore.

According to sources, 10 matches are scheduled in Rawalpindi, 7 in Faisalabad, 4 in Multan, 6 in Karachi and 2 in Peshawar. For the first time, league matches will also be held in Faisalabad and Peshawar.

The opening match of PSL XI will be held on March 26 between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Lahore Qalandars. On March 27, Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings will compete in Lahore. There will be seven double headers in the league.
According to sources, the first qualifier will be played in Rawalpindi on May 2, the first eliminator on May 3, and the second eliminator on May 5 in Lahore. The proposal to hold the final in the US or England is under consideration, while if the final is held in Pakistan, it is proposed to hold it in Lahore.
