Tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have increased after Iran issued a strong warning to the United States and Israel. Iranian military officials said the two countries would never be allowed to pass through the key waterway. The statement came amid rising regional tensions and concerns over possible escalation.
A spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters said former US President Donald Trump had misjudged the start of the conflict. The official added that Trump had also miscalculated how far the situation could spread.
The spokesperson said any expansion of the conflict would ultimately lead to failure for the United States. He stressed that Iran is fully prepared to respond to any level of tension or military action.
The official also warned that any attack on civilian targets would be met with a response “twice as strong.” This statement highlights Iran’s firm stance on defending its territory and interests.
Meanwhile, the naval wing of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that the strategic situation in the Strait of Hormuz has permanently changed. According to the IRGC Navy, the waterway will no longer remain the same, especially for the United States and Israel.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, IRGC officials said the era of foreign dominance in the region has ended. They added that recent developments have shifted the balance of power in favor of regional forces.
The statement further noted that external influence, particularly from the United States, has become limited in areas close to Iran’s maritime borders. This reflects Tehran’s growing confidence in controlling nearby strategic routes.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most important shipping lanes, making these developments critical for global trade and regional stability.
