Turkey Russia Middle East Situation Discussed in Erdogan Putin Call

The Turkey Russia Middle East situation came under focus as Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin held a phone call to discuss rising tensions. The conversation took place after recent developments involving Israel and the United States against Iran. Both leaders reviewed the situation and its impact on regional stability.

According to the Kremlin, the two presidents exchanged views on the current crisis in the Middle East. The discussion focused on the consequences of recent military actions and the risk of further escalation in the region.

The Turkish presidency said that President Erdogan clearly stated Türkiye’s position. He said Ankara does not accept attacks against Iran. At the same time, he also noted that Türkiye does not support Iran’s possible retaliatory actions against other regional countries.

Officials added that Türkiye is actively engaging with all parties. The aim is to reduce tensions and prevent the situation from turning into a wider conflict.

The Turkish government also emphasized its commitment to peace efforts. It is maintaining diplomatic contacts to help control the crisis and support stability across the region.
