The US Embassy Attack in Riyadh early Tuesday morning caused a small fire after two drones struck the building. Saudi officials confirmed there were no injuries as the embassy was empty at the time.

According to the Saudi defence ministry, the drones targeted the diplomatic quarter of Riyadh. The attack resulted in minor material damage. Fire engines were seen outside the US mission shortly after the incident.

Saudi air defence systems intercepted several drones during the attack. Officials later said eight drones were destroyed near Riyadh and Al-Kharj. Authorities raised security levels across the capital.

The US Embassy Attack in Riyadh came amid growing military tensions in the Gulf. Iran has launched missiles and drones at multiple countries in the region following recent US and Israeli air operations.

In response, US Central Command said American forces struck over 1,000 targets in Iran within 24 hours. These included missile launch sites, drone facilities, and air defence systems.

The conflict has also affected other Gulf states. Qatar confirmed it intercepted ballistic missiles. The UAE said it faced a barrage of attacks. Kuwait reported drone damage near its US mission earlier this week.

Saudi Arabia has moved to full military alert after additional drone threats, including strikes near energy facilities. Authorities temporarily limited non-essential travel near military bases.

US President Donald Trump said the war could last longer than expected but insisted operations are ahead of schedule. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the conflict would not continue for years.

Iranian officials warned they would not stay silent and claimed their missile and drone capabilities remain active despite heavy strikes.

The US Embassy Attack in Riyadh highlights the widening nature of the conflict. Military actions are expanding across the Gulf, raising concerns about further escalation.

Regional and global leaders, including Russia and Turkey, have called for restraint. However, both sides continue operations with no immediate sign of de-escalation.
