KASUR: Kasur Police have arrested an accused in an injured condition in a child harassment case after a video went viral on social media, where a man can be seen molesting a minor girl in the Innayat Shah colony area of Kasur.

The CCTV footage showed that two children were playing in the street when a man, later identified as Nasir Ali, forcibly molested the girl and ran away. The video also showed the girl resisting the man and later rushing to her house out of fear.

In a post on X, Kasur Police said that the suspect involved in inappropriate behavior with a girl was arrested in an injured condition.

As per details, the man misfired at his private parts with his pistol when the public tried to catch him over his suspicious behavior. He was later shifted to the Baba Bulleh Shah Hospital. The accused was then arrested by the police in an FIR linked to the viral video case.

Earlier on July 26, a First Information Report (FIR) of the incident was registered by the uncle of the child at the A Division Police Station, Kasur, stating that the incident happened on July 25.

“When we came to the door after hearing her scream, we saw an unidentified person running away. He disappeared while we chased him,” the girl’s uncle stated in the FIR.

The complaint further stated that the girl later told that the unidentified man, while grabbing her, did something to her face.
