KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh has made a significant breakthrough in their efforts to curb the drug trade. Acting on a tip, the ANF seized four kilograms of methamphetamine, also known as ice or crystal meth, from a motorbike-riding suspect.
The arrested individual’s information led the ANF to conduct a raid on a house in Baldia Town, where they recovered an additional five kilograms of ice and two kilograms of crystal heroin hidden in a cupboard.
The seized contraband is valued at several million rupees. A case has been registered against the accused under the Sindh CNS Act 2024. The ANF is now conducting raids to apprehend other accomplices of the accused.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the gang was supplying drugs in affluent areas of the city and was also involved in smuggling drugs abroad.
