Mauritius High Commissioner, SAPM Fahd Haroon discuss cooperation in digital media

ISLAMABAD: High Commissioner of Mauritius to Pakistan Munsoo Kurrimbaccus called on Minister of State/Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media Fahd Haroon at his office to discuss cooperation in digital media and the evolving information landscape.

Mr. R.A.L. Sewtohul, Deputy Head of Mission at the High Commission of Mauritius, was also in attendance at the meeting.

In the meeting, both shared their views on the rapidly evolving digital media environment, its challenges and opportunities, and issues that were important for both sides with respect to digital media platforms and the larger digital media environment.

Both sides deliberated on the developments in the digital media sphere in both countries, best practices in this regard, and opportunities for cooperation in the area of digital media communication.

Moreover, both underlined the need for collaboration in the emerging digital media sectors to enhance innovation and mutual cooperation.

This meeting was an indication of the friendly and cordial relations between Pakistan and Mauritius and also highlighted their resolve to foster cooperation in the area of digital media.
