RAWALPINDI: The Counter-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan in the D-Chowk protest case.
The court issued arrest warrants for Aleema khan in the Sadiqabad police station case regarding the November 26 protest.
Judge Amjad Ali Shah heard the encirclement and burning case. The Anti-Terrorism Court rejected Aleema Khan’s request for exemption from her presence and issued her non-bailable warrants.
The proceedings for indicting Aleema Khan and other co-accused in the case could not be completed today.
Aleema Khan’s lawyer, Muhammad Faisal Malik, had filed a request for exemption from her presence; later, the court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow.
