Bajaur clash: 12 militants killed, 11 security personnel martyred

BAJAUR: 12 Khawarij were killed in a clash between forces and terrorists in Bajaur, while 11 personnel were martyred in a terrorist explosion.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on February 16, Fitna-ul-Khawarij carried out a terrorist attack in Bajaur district, after which a clash broke out between security forces and terrorists in which 12 Khawarij were killed.

The ISPR said that the attackers wanted to breach the security of the check post, but the plan was foiled, after which the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the wall of the check post, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 security personnel.
