ISLAMABAD: The khawarij who carried out a suicide attack on the Malangi post in Bajaur on February 16, 2026, also turned out to be an Afghan citizen.

The suicide bomber was identified as Khareji Ahmad alias Qari Abdullah Abuzar, who was a resident of Balkh province in Afghanistan. Khareji Ahmad, alias Qari Abdullah Abuzar, had also been part of the Taliban’s special forces.

Two innocent civilians, including 11 security personnel, were also martyred in the suicide attack. The involvement of Afghan citizens in terrorism in Pakistan is clear evidence of the Taliban regime’s complete patronage and facilitation of terrorists.

For the past several years, the fabric of terrorism in Pakistan has been found across the border. The bomber who carried out the suicide attack in Islamabad’s Tarlai on February 6, 2026, also received training in terrorism from Afghanistan.

The terrorists who attacked the Islamabad Judicial Complex on November 11, 2025, and the FC Headquarters in Peshawar on November 24 also had links to Afghanistan.

Afghan nationals were also involved in the terrorist attacks on the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Center on October 10 last year and the Kwanza Cadet College on November 10.

The suicide bomber Nematullah, son of Musa Jan, who was arrested in South Waziristan on October 19, 2025, was also a resident of the Afghan province of Kandahar.

The planning of the Bannu Cantt attack on March 4, 2025, was also carried out from Afghanistan, in which the involvement of Afghan nationals was also confirmed.

The facilitators of the Jafar Express attack on March 11, 2025, were in constant contact with Noor Wali, a foreigner hiding in Afghanistan. The confessional statement of the suicide bomber Rohullah K, who was arrested on September 3, 2024, is clear evidence of cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan.
