Body of 45-year-old unidentified man recovered from BRB Canal

LAHORE: The body of an unidentified man has been recovered from BRB Canal in the provincial capital Lahore.

Sources say that according to Rescue 1122, the age of the deceased is estimated to be around 45 years.

Rescue officials have started the process of removing the body from the water and handing it over to the police after necessary action. Initially, the nature of the incident could not be clarified, however, the police are investigating various aspects, including the possibility of an accident, suicide or possibly murder.

It should be noted that Rescue 1122 often receives reports of bodies or accidents from canals and waterways, in which most cases involve drowning or accidental deaths, however, the final facts are clear only after the post-mortem report.
