BSN generic nursing admission schedule 2025 announced for Punjab: Here’s how to apply

LAHORE: Aspiring nurses across Punjab, both male and female, have a golden opportunity as the BSN Generic Nursing Program 2025 admissions are scheduled to begin this month.

If you have domicile from any district of Punjab and have completed F. Sc Pre-Medical with your 2nd year results available, then you are eligible to apply.

From September, nursing colleges at District Headquarters (DHQ) hospitals and other government hospitals across the province will start accepting applications.

Male candidates can apply exclusively to Shahdara Nursing College, Lahore, while female applicants have access to 41 nursing colleges spread across Punjab.

Selected students will not only benefit from a fully funded, four-year nursing education, but will also receive a monthly stipend of up to PKR 32,000, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a career in nursing.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has finalized the admission schedule for the upcoming session. Admissions are expected to begin in late September or early October 2024. T

The entry test and interview are scheduled in the second week of November, and the first merit list is expected to be released in the third week of November. The final merit list will be published on 31 December 2024 and the classes will start from 13 January 2025.

The spring semester is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025.

Additionally, the exam schedule for 2024 has also been approved. The first professional annual exams are scheduled for the first week of March 2025, followed by the second professional exams in the first week of April, the third professional exams in mid-May, and the fourth professional exams in mid-June. Evening session students can expect their first professional exams in the second week of October 2024.
