Budget 2026-27: Rs3.78 Billion allocated for four Danish schools in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: The federal government has allocated more than Rs3.78 billion for the establishment of four Danish Schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir under the federal Budget 2026-27.

According to budget documents, Danish Schools will be established in Bagh, Bhimber, Neelum, and Haveli Kahuta to improve access to quality education in the region.

The government has earmarked Rs514.5 million for the Hari Gehal Bagh Danish School, Rs600 million for the Bhimber Danish School, Rs1.558 billion for the Sharda Neelum Danish School, and Rs1.109 billion for the Haveli Kahuta Danish School.

Officials said the projects are aimed at providing modern educational facilities and expanding opportunities for students in remote areas of Azad Kashmir.

The allocations are part of a broader federal development package designed to strengthen the education sector and improve human resource development in the region.
