Islamabad: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has assigned portfolios to the cabinet members.
According to the statement, Arshad Ayub will oversee the Local Government portfolio, while Shakeel Ahmed will handle Communications and Construction, and Fazal Hakeem Khan has been appointed for Forests, Environment, and Wildlife.
Other appointments include Adnan Qadri as Minister for Religious Affairs and Endowment, Aqibullah Khan for Irrigation, Muhammad Sajjad for Agriculture, and Meena Khan for Higher Education. Additionally, Fazl Shakur Mehnat has been named Minister of Finance, Pakhtun Yarkhan for Public Health, and Aftab Alam for Law.
Furthermore, Khaliqur Rehman will manage Excise Taxation, Syed Qasim Ali Shah has been appointed as Health Minister, Faisal Khan Turkai will oversee Primary and Secondary Education, and Zahir Shah will handle the Food portfolio. Muzamil Aslam, Syed Fakhr Khan, and Mishal Azam have been appointed as CM Advisors for Finance, Sports and Youth, and Ushr and Zakat, respectively.
Moreover, Khalid Latif, brother of Sher Afzal Marwat, has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Science and Technology, and Barrister Saif has been nominated as the government spokesperson.

Previously, on Wednesday, the 15-member cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took the oath at a ceremony held in the Governor House. Administered by KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali, the oath ceremony marked the official commencement of the provincial government led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
