15-members KP cabinet

In the presence of the newly-elected Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Amin Gandapur, 15-members cabinet members took oath on Wednesday.

Governor KP Haji Ghulam Ali administrated the oath of the cabinet in a ceremony held at KP’s Governor’s house.

Earlier today, the notification issued by the government of the KP cabinet wing, that at least 15 ministers and 5 advisers have been named for the provincial cabinet of the province.

The notification reads, “In exercise of the Powers conferred by Article 132(1) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, I, Haji Ghulam Ali, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the advice of Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hereby appoint the following Members of the Provincial Assembly as Ministers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”

Newly appointed cabinet members include Arshad Ayub Khan, Shakeel Ahmad, Fazal Hakim Khan, Muhammad Adnan Qadri, Aqib Ullah Khan, Muhammad Sajjad, Meena Khan, Fazal Shakoor, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, Pakhtoon Yar Khan, Aftab Alam Khan Afridi, Khaleeq Ur Rehman, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, Faisal Khan Tarakai, and Muhammad Zahir Shah.

The names were finalized after KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. The two leaders discussed the formation of the provincial cabinet among other issues.
