LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab has launched the Nigahban Program 2025 to help low-income families during the holy month of Ramadan as the program provides free ration packs and cash assistance to needy families.
As per the details, the free ration initiative aims to ease financial stress and ensure that deserving families can celebrate the holy month with dignity and peace. To provide some relief to those affected by inflation, the Maryam Nawaz-led Punjab government officially launched the Chief Minister Nigahban Ration Program, offering free food packages and a cash grant of Rs 10,000 to deserving families.
The initiative aims to help millions of low-income families in the country’s most populous region who are facing difficult times. The CM Nigahban Ration Program is designed to ease the financial burden on deserving families, providing them with essential food to ensure that they do not go hungry during Ramadan.
Eligible people can apply by visiting the local UC office or by registering online through the PSER portal.
You can visit the local Union Council office with your valid ID card, and provide details about their income, family size, and health conditions. Once verified, they will be registered for ration distribution.
