RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has expressed his desire to further strengthen the military partnership between Pakistan and Belarus, ISPR said.
According to the army’s media wing, the army chief was talking to the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golochenko, in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, regional dynamics and enhancement of bilateral security and defense cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The Army Chief also confirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for Belarus‘ cooperation in global and regional affairs.
The Prime Minister of Belarus praised the Armed Forces of Pakistan for playing an important role in promoting regional peace and stability and acknowledged their professionalism and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
