RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Sunday reiterated the resolve of the Pakistan Army to completely eliminate the Fitna-al-Kharij.
As per the details, upon his arrival in Wana, the Corps Commander Peshawar received the army chief warmly. He vowed to pursue them and their facilitators until their complete elimination. Highlighting the relentless pursuit of those involved in terrorist activities against the state, the COAS said, “We will continue to track them down along with their aides, financiers and instigators of terrorism.”
COAS Munir made it clear that those involved in criminal activities against the nation will have to pay a heavy price for their actions.
He stressed that those who incite terrorism and provide financial support to such acts will also be targeted.
The COAS praised the courage, resilience and determination of the security forces, stressing that these qualities are the foundation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
“Law enforcement agencies and the armed forces are the true heroes of the nation,” he added. “The bravery and dedication of our young soldiers inspires the entire nation and serves as a source of inspiration for the people of Pakistan.”
