SAHIWAL: A boy forced a girl to drink acid for refusing to talk on a mobile phone in Sahiwal area, here on Wednesday.

According to reports, the victim, 16, is fighting for her life in a hospital where her condition is critical. The police have registered a case against the accused Usman on the complaint of the girl’s family.

The First Information Report (FIR) stated that the family had earlier rejected his marriage proposal for the girl. Later, the accused tried to give the mobile phone to the girl to talk.

When the girl refused to talk to him, he forced her to drink acid.
