LAHORE: Pakistani stage actress Mahnoor has filed a formal complaint against Sargodha District Police Officer Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi and made a shocking claim of alleged sexual assault.

Canadian-born actress has appealed to Inspector General Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for justice. In her petition, Mahnoor has alleged that a PSP officer sexually assaulted her at gunpoint in the DPO house, where she was called to recover money, which was allegedly confiscated by the police.

She claims that the DPO sexually assaulted her and recorded obscene videos of her. Giving details, the victim said that she contacted the DPO’s operator and promised to help him recover Rs60 million, but instead he took her to the DPO’s residence, where she was assaulted.

Mahnoor narrated her ordeal, describing how she was robbed and threatened with death. She also expressed concern over possible blackmail and threats related to the dissemination of her private videos and the possibility of being falsely implicated in legal cases. Mahnoor also mentioned reaching out to the Canadian embassy to seek justice.

She demanded an immediate investigation and a case be registered against the senior police officer. The situation garnered widespread attention, raising serious questions about the misuse of power and the safety of women.

Punjab Police is yet to respond to these serious allegations and what steps will be taken to ensure justice for the showbiz star.
