Daughter of former Ambassador Ayaz Wazir passes away

ISLAMABAD: The daughter of Pakistan’s ex-ambassador Ayaz Wazir reportedly has passed away in a road accident in Islamabad.

The incident happened close to a metro station in the capital, where cars are always zipping about. According to reports, Riyan Wazir was on her mobile phone when her car hit the footpath, allegedly because the speed got too high.

According to the eyewitnesses, the girl was not given any proper attention. Her dead body has been taken to PIMS, while police have started an investigation regarding what exactly happened.
