ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, released a video message on Thursday urging the entire nation to take to the streets to participate in the PTI rally on November 24 in Islamabad.
As per the details, in the video message, she conveyed Imran Khan’s message, appealing to all sections of society, including lawyers and judges, to join the PTI protest. “This is a real freedom struggle,” she said, emphasizing Imran Khan’s “commitment to the rule of law.”
Rejecting rumours of changing the protest date, Bushra Bibi said that November 24 will not be changed until the PTI chairman himself announces it. Until he addresses the nation, there will be no change in history.
Criticizing state institutions, she questioned why the police and authorities are “crueltying to their own children” and urged them to work within the boundaries of the constitution. She said the protest would be peaceful and legal but point fingers at state institutions that violate the law.
Is Pakistan only for Imran Khan? Should he make only one sacrifice? She questioned that the PTI chairman was confined to a small space for 18 months for advocating justice and the rule of law.
Bushra Bibi assured those in power that the PTI founder has no intention of revenge and revenge. He has vowed to open the doors of forgiveness after coming to power. “Revenge is not in his plan, nor is it liked by Allah,” she said.
Addressing state institutions, she urged them to see the protesters as their brothers and sisters. “Don’t be cruel. The children and youth participating in this protest rally are part of your families,” she said.
The video message came as the PTI is gearing up for a “do or die” power show.
