Dozens of worshipers’ shoes stolen from outside Pakistan Parliament mosque

ISLAMABAD – The highly fortified jurisdiction of Pakistan’s Parliament witnessed a strange incident on Friday when an unidentified man stole the shoes of more than a dozen worshipers from a mosque.

Journalists are also among those who were deprived of their shoes during Friday prayers in the mosque.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, took notice of the incident and reprimanded the security authorities for their negligence.

He has directed the security officials to trace the suspect through CCTV footage and take strict action against him.

According to reports, the NA Speaker has also directed them to tighten security to avoid such incidents in future.
