Dr. Munawar Iqbal Kamboh appointed PPIB MD on look-after basis

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Dr. Munawar Iqbal Kamboh, Managing Director, Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB), for three months on look after charge until the appointment of a permanent MD, as the process of selecting the regulator MD is in progress.

He has replaced Shah Jahan Mirza, who has been serving PPIB since long time as head of the Organization.

Dr. Munawar was serving in the organization as Director General (Hydel) and was monitoring all the private sector hydropower projects that are under construction
