LAHORE: The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to start on March 26, has opened registration for foreign players.

The league’s PSL social media page made the announcement and said that February 3 is the deadline for registration.

With the addition of Hyderabad and Sialkot as new teams, the PSL will have eight teams in its historic eleventh edition.

The league will hold an auction on February 11 in place of player drafts for the first time.

At the auction workshop on Sunday, the PSL administration provided a full description of the reservation and auction processes and engaged all franchises in a debate.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also announced the base pricing and minimum additional bids in Pakistani rupees for players ahead of the auction.

Each squad will consist of 16 to 20 players, including 5 to 7 foreign players, while the playing XI will contain three or four foreign players.
